Is everything ok with you? So much has happened in Egypt since this post.

Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadris fatwa on terrorism and suicide bombings has hurt a lot of extremists and their sympathisers especially in Pakistan. They have a vendeta against him and use all means to try and tarnish his image. However, Allah protects His friends. If you ever see him visiting there, please kiss his hands for me.

My friend, this is a depressing way to begin my day. But alas, it is the current state. I see the dilemma on a local scale where we are trashing K-12 in order to fund the “commerce authority”.

It was interesting to learn that most of the jobs created during Perry’s governorship pay less than $11 an hour. I don’t know how a graduate could support a family on that amount, much less repay student loans (if used). Now where’s the write-in spot where I can say that the professor resembles Sean Connery? I seem to remember reading that on a Texas survey, don’t I? At any rate, the world forgets that Texas has oil and that because of it, they often create their own economy.
